Inspector's hearty effort for marathon
A police inspector from Blandford has raised more than £400 for charity by running the London Marathon.
Inspector Roger Robinson raised £420 for the British Heart Foundation by completing the 26-mile route in just five hours.
Roger’s latest triumph is the third time he has completed a marathon.
In 2002 he ran for Cancer Research UK, and in 2008 raised money for The Bobby Moore Fund for Bowel Cancer.
He chose to support the British Heart Foundation after his father-in-law was rushed into hospital for open heart surgery to replace a faulty valve just two weeks before the race.
