The North Dorset Community Resource Team
The North Dorset Community Resource Team supports people in mental health recovery, we are a team of 7 workers from the NHS and Dorset County Council, our base is at the Peacemarsh Surgery in Gillingham. We link with community mental health teams across the North Dorset Locality (Blandford, Shaftesbury, Sherborne and surrounding villages)
We aim to focus our work on the individual person and their recovery by enabling people to access community resouces which may aid their recovery. Examples can include: * Hobbies and interests * Sports * Education and training * Arts * Cultural and spiritual. * Help in finding & maintaining work -
We use our extensive community contacts to do this.

Blandford Art Group – Summer Sessions
Due to the ongoing popularity, and requests from you, we are going to continue with the Art Group on Monday afternoons. We have re-booked Helen to act as tutor and Blandford Methodist Church is available for the summer months.

The North Dorset Community Resource Team in partnership with Dorset Adult Education are offering a five week pottery course (every Thursday) starting 8th November until 6th December 2007 from 1.30pm until 3.30pm at the new Dorset Adult Education HQ in Blandford.

Do you enjoy Gardening ?
Would you haved liked to have developed your skills and knowledge or just joined in and got your hands dirty?
The North Dorset Community Resource Team in partnership with the Springhead Trust at Fontmell Magna offered three workshops that you could have attended: Wednesday 5th September 2007 from 10-12:30 Gardening with the Springhead Volunteers in the beautiful grounds and Thursday 6th September vegetable gardening and how to sow seeds from 10-12.30 and 2-4pm.
The North Dorset Community Resource Team have enjoyed a walk led by the Springhead Trust on the Fontmell Down on the 6th September 2007 from 2pm until approximately 5pm.
