Volunteering
The North Dorset Community Resource Team works with several community based organisations, which can help you find out the right opportunity for you.
We can also provide a chance to try volunteering on one of our specifically arranged community projects.
Some of the benefits people have told us they have experience are:
Meeting new people Learning new skills Tried new things Had some fun Helping others/being busy took their mind off their own problems Challenged themselves - and even better survived and enjoyed it! Got a feeling of being useful which increased own self esteem and confidence
